Jeweled Cinnamon Rolls
These festive treats elevate traditional cinnamon rolls to a new level with the addition of nuts, seeds, and dried fruits.

Besides tasting luxurious and delicious, I love these Jeweled Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls because I can customize them to whatever flavor combination I am looking for.
The version here is made with toasted pecans, pepitas (pumpkin seeds), dried cranberries, and golden raisins. Other variations can include pistachios, pine nuts, or currents. You can definitely switch it up and make it with whatever nuts, seeds, or dried fruits you may have in your pantry.

I rolled out thawed puff pastry onto a board and brushed it with a layer of melted butter. Orange marmalade is a good alternative. I then sprinkled the top with the different nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. I topped it all off with a mixture of brown sugar and a little cinnamon and a tiny pinch of salt.
I also added these to the cups of a greased muffin tin.

Slowly, I rolled the puff pastry up starting with the long edge into a big roll. I sliced the roll into 12 pieces and placed them on top of the mixture in each of the muffin tins.

I baked in the oven until they were puffed up and golden brown. Carefully, I inverted the rolls onto a tray and beheld the amazing site of these royal jeweled cinnamon rolls.

They are delectable served with tea, on a dessert table, or alongside a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. What combination will you use?
